We bought these for covering our German Goose Down Pillows (also purchased here, & we love them). These cases are nice & fit the pillows very well. The hidden zipper closure is not bothersome while sleeping. In fact, I don't notice the zipper at all. The fabric is soft to the touch. It is not overly shiny. The cases wash well. You may want to run an iron over them after drying for a more crisp/polished look, but it isn't necessary. Overall a we are pleased with this purchase.
